Meet Dr. David Maloley


Dr. David Maloley grew up working on a family farm in Lexington, Nebraska. He earned both his bachelor’s degree and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Nebraska in Lincoln. As an undergraduate, he had the opportunity to work as a student athletic trainer on the sidelines for the Cornhuskers during the National Championship seasons in 1994 and 1995.
In 2003, Dr. Maloley completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina, then served as a Dental Officer in the U.S. Army for the next five years, where he spent time in Giebelstadt, Germany and Vicenza, Italy, providing general dentistry services for the local military communities. After he returned to the U.S. in 2007, he worked at a private practice near Charlotte, NC, for two years before relocating to Colorado to open Vail Valley Dental Care.

Dr. Maloley is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Orthodontics and the American Academy of Oral Systemic Health. He was recently awarded Fellowship in the International Dental Implant Association. He is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to better serve the dental care needs of his patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience. David is also committed to helping his colleagues achieve success in their practices and in their personal lives. He has lectured to thousands of dentists across the country and hosts a weekly podcast that’s listened to by doctors around the world.

Dr. Maloley strongly believes in being involved and giving back to the community. He enjoys traveling, skiing, cycling and spending time with his wife, Karah, their son, Bennett, and their rambunctious boxer, Brux.

Established by Dr. David Maloley in 2009, Vail Valley Dental Care is located at 100 West Beaver Creek Boulevard, Suite 232, in Avon, CO. 

Situated at the base of Beaver Creek Ski resort, our office has beautiful mountain views and plenty of parking.
